Pine Cay

Originally established in the 1970s as The Meridian Club, Pine Cay became the first boutique resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands, setting a benchmark for low-impact luxury and architectural simplicity.

In 2017, SWA embarked on a multi-year effort to reimagine the resort through a series of sensitive refurbishments. The goal was to elevate comfort and amenity while preserving the relaxed architectural spirit and original charm of the property. Working closely with the board members, SWA delivered a vision of luxury grounded in simplicity. The result is a resort that feels both refreshed and timeless, now recognized internationally as a member of the Relais & Châteaux collection and reaffirmed as one of the Caribbean’s most unique and authentic retreats.
